1. Who we are
Cifras Live (the "App") is a tool for musicians, bands and worship teams to display chord charts and lyrics and sync screens across devices during rehearsals and performances. It is offered by Juliano Boscariol, an individual based in Brazil ("we"); contact: contato@cifraslive.com.br.
Contact: contato@cifraslive.com.br.
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
2. What the App is (and isn't)
2.1. The App is a tool: it displays, organizes, transposes and syncs the content you put into it (charts, lyrics, setlists, annotations).
2.2. The App does not provide third-party lyrics, charts or sheet music. The two example songs included with the App are our own and are for demonstration only.
2.3. The App is not a music distribution service, a public chart library or a social network.
3. Your content
3.1. You are responsible for the content you add, import, edit or share in the App, including having permission to use it.
3.2. When you add third-party works (lyrics, charts, arrangements), you represent that:
- (a) you are the author or rights holder; or
- (b) you have the rights holder's permission; or
- (c) the use is allowed under applicable copyright law (for example, private, non-commercial use).
3.3. Content you create (such as your annotations and arrangements) remains yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, display and transmit that content as part of how the App works (for example, to send the Leader's screen to Followers or to create a share link).
3.4. You may not use the App to:
- publicly distribute protected works without permission;
- build chart or lyrics libraries for access by the general public;
- post illegal, offensive or discriminatory content, or content that violates others' rights;
- try to access other users' data, or overload or attack the service.
4. Sharing setlists
4.1. The Share feature creates a link that lets other people receive a setlist (songs, keys, arrangements and singers' names) on their device.
4.2. Sharing is meant for your team's internal use (band, ministry, group). You should not post these links in places open to the public.
4.3. For short links, the setlist content is stored on our server and can be opened by anyone with the link. These setlists are not listed or searchable and are automatically deleted after 180 days.
5. Live room (Leader and Followers)
5.1. In the live room, the Leader sends Followers the open song, the key, the screen position and the arrangement. This information passes through the server in real time and is not recorded.
5.2. Anyone who knows the room code can join. Choose a code that isn't obvious and share it only with your team.
6. Takedown requests (copyright)
6.1. If you hold rights to a work and believe it is being shared through the App without permission, send to contato@cifraslive.com.br:
- your name and contact details;
- the work in question and proof of ownership (or of whom you represent);
- the share link where it appears;
- a statement that the information is true.
6.2. After receiving a valid request, we will remove the indicated content from our server within 5 business days.
6.3. Users who repeatedly infringe others' rights may have their access to sharing features blocked.
7. Operation, availability and liability
7.1. The App also works offline for content already saved on the device. Features such as the live room and sharing need a connection.
7.2. We do our best to keep the App available, but it is provided "as is", without any guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We recommend always having a plan B for performances (for example, the setlist printed or saved as PDF).
7.3. Your content is stored on your device. Clearing browser data, uninstalling the App or switching devices may erase it. Use the backup (Settings → Backup) to keep copies.
7.4. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of content, connection failures during performances or misuse of the App by users.
8. Paid plans
The App does not have paid plans yet.
9. Privacy
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Important changes will be announced in the App. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new version.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be settled in the courts of the user's place of residence, without prejudice to any consumer rights granted by the law of your country.
