Version 0.12 · 11/03/2026
- Themes on songs: in the editor, tag songs with themes such as Worship, Communion, Opening or Christmas (or create your own). In the Songs tab, tap a theme to see only its songs; search also finds songs by theme.
Version 0.11 · 11/03/2026
- QR code invite: in the live room, the Leader taps "Invite the band" and shows the QR code; whoever points the camera joins the room right away (as a musician or on the screen), without typing a code. You can also copy or send the link.
- The Leader's song on the musician's device: if the Leader opens a song the musician doesn't have, the chart shows up anyway; on the home screen, "Save on my device" keeps a copy.
- Welcome: the first time, a card asks whether you'll play on your own (opens an example song) or with your team (creates the room and shows the QR code).
Fixes and tweaks
- 11/03: tuner with an unplugged bass: with Bass selected, the tuner filters out room noise and recognizes strings played near the phone, even when quiet; the right string lights up even when the mic hears the harmonic.
- 11/03: product page: "Try it free" button, a note that charts work offline and the live room uses the internet, the question "Does the app come with songs?" and text about future plans (advance notice; your songs are always yours).
- 11/03: room code in two blocks (e.g. 8YW 634), easier to read and say out loud; when typing, the space is optional.
Version 0.10 · 10/29/2026
- Rehearsal mode: in the song's ⋯ menu, pick a section to loop (when the next section is reached, the chart jumps back to its start) and the speed: 100%, 75% or 50% (scrolling and metronome together).
- Pad in key: in the song's ⋯ menu, a continuous background sound in the song's key, generated on the device (no internet). Three sounds (Strings, Atmosphere, Soft organ) and volume. It follows each song's key with a smooth transition; in a live room, it follows the Leader's key.
Fixes and tweaks
- 11/03: backup through Import or drag and drop: the backup file (.json) now comes in as a backup (songs, setlists and team) instead of turning into a song with the file's text.
- 11/03: new address: Cifras Live is now at www.cifraslive.com.br. On the old address, a notice helps you bring your songs (export the backup and import it at the new one), and setlist links already use the new address.
- 11/03: end of the song on phones: the options (sections, Next, Stop) wrap onto lines and all show up, instead of a cut-off row.
- 11/03: percussion view: follows the theme chosen in the song's ⚙ (light, print or dark) and covers the screen down to the bottom bar, with no lyrics peeking through a gap.
- 11/03: contact: now contato@cifraslive.com.br.
- 11/03: lighter settings: in the song's ⚙, options are grouped (Song, My instrument, While playing, Reading) and each section opens and closes showing the current value; in Settings, the Backup button at the top goes straight to the backup.
- 11/03: song controls: the first few times they hide, a tip shows that tapping the chart brings them back; in the song's ⚙, "Auto-hide controls" can be turned off (good for rehearsal).
- 11/03: accessibility: switches and pill options tell screen readers whether they are on or selected, and show focus when using the keyboard.
- 11/03: name windows in the app's style: creating and renaming a setlist, a new person, a new singer, pasting a link and text notes open the app's own window (before it was the browser's, which looked bad on iPhone or didn't show at all).
- 11/03: live room at hand on phones: a button at the top of the home screen goes straight to the room code; the room card comes right after the setlists (before it was below the footer).
- 11/03: safer live room: devices only accept commands signed by the Leader, even before the Leader shows up; a message with a wrong time no longer freezes the room.
- 11/03: no-Leader notice: if the Leader leaves the room, the musician sees "No leader connected · keeping the last song" (the chart stays on screen); on the screen, only a discreet dot in the corner.
- 11/03: received data checked inside: arrangements, keys, notes and percussion from links and backups are checked item by item; a damaged item is dropped and the rest comes in.
- 11/03: recovery screen: if a screen fails, a notice with "Back to start" and "Download backup" appears instead of a blank screen.
- 11/03: app open in two places: a window left on an old version no longer undoes the edit made in the other one, and deleted items don't come back.
- 10/30: product page: "About Cifras Live" link at the bottom of the home screen.
- 10/30: schedule time: picked from a list (every 15 minutes); the Android clock cut off the confirm button with large text.
- 10/30: home screen on phones: with a full team, the live room and team panel no longer spills past the screen width.
- 10/30: tuner hears unplugged instruments: bass and guitar played near the phone, without a cable, are now picked up even when the sound is quiet.
- 10/30: setlists sorted by date: upcoming services come first (the nearest at the top), then those without a date and, at the end, past ones.
- 10/30: wind instrument by name: in the song's ⚙, "Wind instrument" now lists the instruments (Trumpet, Clarinet, Soprano, Tenor, Alto and Baritone sax, French horn, Flute, Trombone); the app applies the tuning by itself.
- 10/29: better data protection: received setlist links, files and backups are checked before they come in (a cut-off link or a damaged file no longer breaks the home screen). Removing yourself from the Team clears "You on this device". The fill warning in the percussion view follows the rehearsal mode speed.
- 10/29: Pad shortcut: while the Pad plays, a button with the key appears in the song's bottom bar; one tap opens the Pad to turn it off or change the volume.
- 10/29: less sensitive tuner: it measures the room noise and only reacts to sound above it, ignores what isn't a note (talking, clapping) and only changes note once it settles; the needle moves smoothly.
- 10/29: Pad without dropouts on phones: lighter sound for the device and a larger audio buffer; it resumes by itself if the system pauses audio.
- 10/29: backup reminder: after 14 days without exporting (or never), a small card on the home screen reminds you to save a backup, with an Export button; the ✕ reminds you again in 7 days.
Version 0.9 · 10/29/2026
- Setlist PDF booklet: the printer button in the setlist header creates a cover with the index and each song on its own page, in that setlist's key and arrangement. Print it or save it as PDF (a backup plan for the service).
- Tuner: in the song's ⋯ menu, a microphone tuner for guitar, bass and violin, with a cents needle and the nearest string. Works offline; nothing is recorded.
Version 0.8 · 10/29/2026
- Song transitions: in the last section of a song, above the end bar, the app shows the lead-in chord to the next song's key (G to A: E7; tap it for the diagram) and warns when the tempo changes a lot (e.g. 68 → 128 BPM). With a capo or a wind instrument, the chord is already in your format.
Version 0.7 · 10/29/2026
- Wind instruments: in the song's ⚙, "Wind instrument" (C, B♭, E♭, F) shows the chart already in the instrument's key: with the band in Bb, a B♭ trumpet reads in C. It applies only on your device; the band stays in its key. Anyone scheduled as Trumpet (B♭) or Sax (E♭) opens in the right key the first time.
Fixes and tweaks
- 10/29: fixed: the Team disappeared when a song was deleted. The schedule also no longer shows empty rows for people who left the team.
- 10/29: rename a setlist: tap the setlist name to change it; pressing and holding the name no longer selects the text.
Version 0.6 · 10/29/2026
- Chords only (grid): in the song's ⋯ menu, the chart becomes a grid per section, | G | D | Em | C |, without lyrics. Handy for keys and bass. One box per chord, in chart order.
Version 0.5 · 10/29/2026
- Capo suggestion: in keys that are hard on guitar (Eb, F#, Bb…), the song's ⚙ shows, for example, "Suggestion: capo 1, D shapes"; one tap sets the capo.
Version 0.4 · 10/29/2026
- Simplified chords: in the song's ⚙ (or in Settings), the whole chart shows only basic chords: G7M(9) becomes G, Am7(11) Am, D/F# D.
- Chord variations: in the diagram, the ‹ › arrows show other guitar positions (open, barre and shapes higher up the neck) and keyboard inversions (root position, 1st and 2nd inversion).
Version 0.3 · 10/29/2026
- Next service: when "You on this device" is on the schedule, the home screen shows a small card with the date, time, your role and an Open button. It disappears when no service is coming up.
- Favorites: a star on each song row and a "Favorites" filter in the Songs tab. With many songs, key and artist filters also appear.
- Collapsed setlists: past services show only the name bar (plus the Rehearse and Start service buttons). The arrow in the header expands or collapses any setlist; your choice is remembered on the device.
- Repertoire statistics (⚙ Settings): most played songs, songs forgotten for 3 months or more, average tempo, most used keys by singer and who played the most. Only setlists dated up to today count.
Version 0.2 · 10/27/2026
- Languages: the app now works in Portuguese, Spanish (Latin America) and English. It opens in your phone's language; to change it, ⚙ Settings → Language. The user guide, What's new, Terms and Privacy pages are also available in all three languages.
Fixes and tweaks
- 10/27: ☀/☾ button at the top of the home screen to switch between light and dark theme with one tap.
- 10/27: smooth auto-scroll at any speed: the chart no longer shakes when scrolling slowly (phone and computer).
- 10/27: 🌐 EN button at the top of the home screen, next to the ⚙, to change the language; Language is the first item in Settings.

Fixes and tweaks
- 10/26: user guide with screenshots (shown when online; tap to enlarge).
- 10/26: pinching the chart changes the text size (the text reflows on screen, with no sideways scrolling); the whole page no longer zooms like a photo. Text can go up to 64.
- 10/26: pulling the screen down no longer reloads the page; if it does reload, the app returns to the same song, key, service mode and room.
- 10/26: with the app open in two places (installed app and browser link), one no longer erases what the other saved.
